Affording groceries, healthcare and accommodation is a major source of stress for more than 60% of the population, survey shows
More than sixty percent of Bermuda residents said the soaring costs of groceries, healthcare, and housing — along with the inability to save for the future — are pushing them to despair, especially middle and low income households .
These newly released poll results, released exclusively to Bermuda Broadcasting News today, reveal just how deeply financial pressures are affecting everyday life on-island…
The findings come from an independent survey conducted in September by Narrative Research Bermuda, which compared local responses to similar data collected in the United States.
Our Dianne Brewer sat down with the firm’s C.O.O. and Partner, Margaret Chapman, to unpack the results. (WATCH above)
The results of the poll reflect the opinions of 200 adult Bermuda residents.
The questions were not commissioned by a 3rd party & were collected independently by Narrative Research Bermuda.
