Owen Darrell suggests the app brings Bermuda on par with modern transportation standards elsewhere in the world

The Government’s public transport app, Shorelink, is being hailed as a “huge step in the right direction” for Bermuda’s transportation system.
That’s according to Transport Minister, Owen Darrell.
Following the rollout of the app’s latest feature – live bus and ferry tracking, which we put to the test yesterday – the Minister says commuters are responding positively, and he expects usage and sales to continue climbing.
With the busy summer tourism season putting added pressure on the island’s transportation network, we asked the Minister whether he would consider adding a capacity tracker to the app – allowing users to plan ahead more effectively.
He told us his ministry is open to adjusting and improving features to enhance the user experience.
