Video mash-up: Santa, drones & fireworks

Hamilton’s streets were packed last night as The MarketPlace hosted its annual Christmas parade and drone show, held in tribute to the late Vernon Hassell.

From 5pm to 7.30pm, 32 groups including Gombeys, the St George’s Dancerettes, and SUI Generis Dance entertained crowds with vibrant performances.

Families enjoyed holiday music played by the Royal Bermuda Regiment Band, appearances by beloved festive characters, and spirited routines from groups like DanceSations and the PHC Majorettes.

Spectators praised the lively atmosphere, with many thrilled to see children and grandchildren performing.

The evening ended with Santa’s arrival, a stunning drone display over Hamilton Harbour featuring Christmas and Bermuda-themed images – and fireworks.
