However, the middle sessions proved far more challenging as the track tightened. He was crowded out early aboard Wiggle Me to finish eighth in Race 6, before structural difficulties compounded in Race 7’s Pace Class, leaving him 10th with Firing Onall Fours despite a rapid 1:55.3 clip.
Refusing to let the mid-meet slump dictate his night, Waldron saved his finest tactical drive for the absolute deadline in Race 14’s Pace Class. Managing Tellit Candy beautifully, the Bermudian saved crucial ground along the rail before launching a massive late surge down the homestretch.
