Chamber President calls for a cross-Ministry approach from Government aimed at Bermuda’s current and future employment needs
A unified approach to Bermuda’s employment market is required.
This according to Marico Thomas, President of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
Weighing-in on the potential jobs boon when the Fairmont Southampton re-opens, Mr. Thomas says we don’t have the people to fill them, and those we do have may not find the money and hours attractive.
He’s calling for a cross-Ministry approach from Government aimed at Bermuda’s current and future employment needs, and he doesn’t believe hospitality alone is going to be enough of a solution. (WATCH above)
