Bermuda has officially unveiled the historic youth squads and coaching rosters ahead of the island’s debut appearance at the prestigious 2026 Portugal Basketball Festival.
The confirmation marks a monumental milestone for the local game, with two select national development teams heading to Europe for the very first time. To prepare, the traveling squads will undergo an intensive one-week training camp in Lisbon to adapt to the climate and sharpen tactical systems before the June 27th tip-off.
The Under-17 national side will be spearheaded by head coach Ralph Scott and assistant Joshua Nesbit, while the Under-19 team will be guided by head coach Damiso Husband and assistant Jorel Smith.
Under-17 Team: Cruz Butterfield, Mataio Cameron, Luka Cedenio, Harrison Estwanick, Ryan Green, Max Kimberley, Jordon Marsh, Traedon Minors, Stasio Raynor-Weller, Micah Simmons.
Under-19 Team: Chris Crumpler Jr., Quinton Husband, Anton Gilbert, Maxwell Lawrence, Josiah Scott, Tre Simmons, Henok Simons, Zadok Simons, Jordan Smith, Lachlan Thompson, Devin Todd.
