Waldron in the Winner’s Circle on Busy Night at Hoosier Park

Harness Racing

Kiwon Waldron had a marathon night of harness racing at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, featuring in no fewer than eight races across the card.

Waldron showcased his versatility, competing in both the Pace and Trot classes throughout the evening. His night saw a string of consistent performances, including multiple sixth-place finishes with Six Sticks Of Gum, Rock Party, and Midnite’s Pro, and a fifth-place finish aboard Firing Onall Fours. He also navigated a larger field to finish ninth with Bull Market.

But the perseverance paid off in Race 9, a Trot class event. Waldron expertly guided Wiggy Hill through the pack, making a decisive move in the final stretch to seize victory, crossing the line in a winning time of 1 minute, 57 and three-fifths of a second.

Waldron’s busy night continued immediately after his win, securing a fifth-place finish in the very next race with Great Flick. His final drive of the evening saw him finish seventh in the last race aboard Youda Shark. Despite the demanding schedule, Waldron’s victory was the clear highlight of a long and active night at Hoosier Park.
