2-vehicle crash in Devonshire. 16-year-old sustained injuries described as life-threatening
Police Statement:
Around 6:30 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, police and emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a serious two-vehicle road traffic collision on Parsons Lane in Devonshire, near Watlington Waterworks.
Initial information suggests the incident involved an auxiliary cycle and a motor car.
The auxiliary cycle rider, a 16-year-old male, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries described as life-threatening.
The driver of the motor car was not reported to be injured.
Traffic is currently being diverted via Orange Valley Road and Vesey Street, while the scene is being processed.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area and to expect delays. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is underway.
